2 more of last season’s title-winning squad have re-signed for the Tigers, with David Poole and Josh Brizell deciding to stay at Ewen Fields.
David joined from local rivals Droylsden in November having previously forged a successful Football League career, most notably at Yeovil and Stockport, and he chipped with some vital goals towards the end of last season.
Josh joined us in October after a spell out of the game, but the former Rochdale player made the right-back spot his own with 23 appearances in the position.
Meanwhile, our first pre-season friendly at Ewen Fields has been confirmed as a local derby against FC United of Manchester at 7.45pm on Tuesday 24th July.
